How did a long-standing leader in retail software refresh its brand and rebuild its website to break into the US market?

Aristid builds the promotions management platform used by major European retailers: Carrefour, Auchan, Intermarché, Intersport. Meleï Studio replaced its French corporate brochure site with an international product website in six languages, organized by module, role, and industry, that the marketing team runs in-house.

A site about the company, not what you do with it.

The starting point: a WordPress brochure site live since 2022, and not a single page telling a buyer what the platform would change for them.

Aristid’s old site presented the company, its three technologies, and a blog of 320 posts in French, with nine pages translated into English. It said nothing about what the platform does, who it’s for, or which markets it serves.

The messaging relied on company figures (350 employees, 30 years, 15,000 users), while a retail marketing director wants to know what they’ll gain on their promotions. No pages by role, industry, or use case. No security and compliance page, no structured testimonials, no technical resources.

Aristid wanted a site worthy of software sold to Carrefour, Auchan, and Intermarché: one that speaks to six markets in their own language, and that its marketing team can run itself.

Eight workstreams, from messaging to onboarding.

We started from scratch. The messaging shifted from “who we are” to “what you do with Aristid,” and the architecture, languages, and content all followed from there.

  1. 01

    Reposition the messaging

The hero went from “French leaders in retail technology” to “retail promotions management software,” and customer impact figures replaced company figures: −30% time to market, −50% production costs.

  2. 02

    Build the full architecture

Six navigation items, a mega menu, 43 pages organized by solution, module, role, industry, and use case. Every persona and every industry has its own way in: five solutions that follow the promotion cycle (plan, create, activate, deploy, optimize).

  3. 03

    Open six markets

Six languages, each with its own translated URLs and sitemap, so Google serves the right version to each market. The old site had only nine pages in English; the new one has 395 indexable pages, 320 of them in languages other than English.

  4. 04

    Sort and rewrite the content

320 blog posts reviewed, 32 news articles kept, rewritten, and sorted into 19 categories. Eight retailer testimonials structured in the CMS, three case studies: Carrefour, Intermarché, Rona.

  5. 05

Provide the proof an enterprise buyer expects

Security and compliance pages (ISO 27001, ANSSI, France’s national cybersecurity agency), certifications, partners, media kit, technical resources: what a retail buyer asks for before signing.

  6. 06

Deliver a design system, not pages

A style guide, components, illustrations, and patterns that give the brand a clear direction, and a CMS where the team publishes news, testimonials, and translations on its own.

  7. 07

Write SEO metadata for every page

Title, description, and social preview written for each of the 43 pages, in every language, with the structured data that helps Google understand them.

  8. 08

Train the team to run the site with Claude

Claude connected to Aristid’s Webflow site, and training for the marketing team to use it: create a page, rewrite or translate dozens of pieces of content at once, while staying in control of the editorial strategy.

The brand, on every screen.

Isometric illustrations, patterns, and graphic compositions created for the site, giving the brand a direction well beyond the web. The logo, the TT Norms Pro typeface, the blue, and the coral are still Aristid’s own.

A page of the Aristid site on desktop: “Build a winning omnichannel marketing strategy,” three cards, and an illustration
Two mobile screens on a blue background: “Expand your digital inventory reach” and “Power your partner ecosystem with one centralized data hub”
Blue Aristid banner: the logo, “All your retail promos radically simplified,” and the isometric illustration of store aisles
Two mobile screens on a coral background: the What’s new at Aristid page and an article
The security and compliance page on desktop: “Independently audited. Fully transparent.” and the recognized standards

What changed for the Aristid team.

A site that sells the product, six markets reached in their own language, and a marketing team that publishes without us.

  • A site that sells the product, not just the company

Every module, every role, every industry has its own page. A buyer finds theirs in two clicks.

  • A real international presence

Six markets reached in their own language, each with its own URLs and page-by-page SEO.

  • A self-sufficient marketing team

News, testimonials, and translations are managed in the CMS. And with Claude connected to the site, a single request is enough to update dozens of pages.

  • A foundation of proof

Testimonials from eight retailers, three case studies, and the compliance and certification pages an enterprise buyer asks for.

  • Cleaned-up content

320 uneven blog posts replaced by 32 up-to-date news articles, categorized and translated.

Very happy with our collaboration with Studio Meleï, both the result and the process. A very modern way to build a website: agile, innovative, without heavy processes or pointless meetings. A tight-knit team, responsive and creative, working asynchronously and very efficiently. And above all, genuinely nice people, always in problem-solving mode. Would recommend!
